I grew up seeing my dad creating and building things from scratch, in a joyful solitude, deep in concentration. Having a strong visual inner world, it’s been natural to follow him on this path and translate every sound, smell, taste and a full range of emotions into pictures on the paper.
I use mainly graphite, charcoal and oil paint. Harmony in the chaos of an image is very important to me – I strive for tasteful colour combinations, graceful lines and for creating a form of sensibility in the world of bold strokes.
I love exploring my mind in the process – all the subconsciously made decisions and the outcome of those meditative hours tell something about my current feelings – a fully lived up present moment.
