Here are all the videos I made for this year’s Inktober. This was the first year I’ve made even the slightest attempt to participate – dry media always seemed safer and easier to push around the paper so thinking about ink was a bit of a dread.
At the same time, using a ballpoint pen always intrigued me for the very dark and layered effects, and it was actually very liberating to just lean into the process and not to think about redoing or removing parts. Of course, many times it meant to rip the paper and start all over again, but man, does it feel like a victory to finish a drawing like that!
I made 3 inktober videos in 4 weeks, altogether, which I take as a success after 6 months off YouTube – what I thought to be a pressure before, became quite a fun at the end. I’m so happy that many of you enjoyed this creative time with me and I’ve loved reading all your comments, thank you so much for swinging by!!
It doesn’t mean I’m taking a break from filming again, I’m preparing some graphite drawing videos and one about the materials I love using the most and seeing almost a 1000 people subscribing made me think of a giveaway and a Q&A video to show and tell you more about myself as well so we can get to know each other (on top the 25 fun facts I already shared).
What do you guys think?
Do you have any questions I could answer in those videos?
